Healthy Hair
Having healthy hair is another sign of youth. Therefore, hair care is essential.
I apply a similar philosophy to my hair care as I do to my face care. I aim to minimize the use of chemical-based products, particularly shampoo. Instead, I primarily rinse my hair with water every other day.
I reserve the use of shampoo for when it is truly necessary—typically no more than once a month, or after intense physical activity that results in heavy sweating.
It is also important to be mindful of how shampoo is used. Many people leave shampoo on their scalp for too long, overlooking the fact that its primary purpose is to cleanse the hair rather than the scalp. Prolonged exposure to shampoo may allow chemical residues to remain in the scalp’s pores, which could potentially hinder healthy hair growth. For this reason, I make it a point to rinse shampoo out thoroughly and promptly.
From a nutritional perspective, diet also plays a role in hair health. Foods such as seaweed, which are rich in essential nutrients, can support stronger and healthier hair when incorporated regularly into one’s diet.
